About

When I graduated from The Ohio State University, I had the option of going back to Virginia where I grew up or staying in Columbus and starting a new life.

The single greatest decision I have ever made was choosing to stay.

I love Columbus, the way you can find anything you want here if you are willing to look. Columbus has fostered my growth. It’s here that I learned how to write.

I learned how much a nice pair of Jordans can really make an outfit.

I learned that if you have the right people in your life, playing video games until 3 AM isn’t quite as pathetic as it sounds when you say it out loud.

I’ve learned the value of good conversations. The value of knowing as much as you can about who you are.

I became a professional here, starting out as a store clerk at a UDF, learning the importance of working hard even when the work seems mundane. Learning how to conduct myself in professional settings. Learning how a bright colored shirt can make a good impression, especially if you pair with a good tie and the confidence to speak your mind.
