Writing Career

I began competing in national poetry slams in 2009.

I have been on 6 national slam teams out of Columbus, OH as well as competed in two Individual World Poetry Slams placing in the top half of 72 competitors.

In 2011, I was a National Poetry Slam Finalist as part of a team that took 4th out of 80 teams.

I have had poems published in Radius Lit and Columbus Alive and two audio recordings of poems published in Us 4 President.

I have had an article published with Black Nerd Problems. I have spent the passed decade working on this craft with the goal of clarity while finding innovative forms of expression.
